USA! USA! USA!
I recently read them all back to back. It’s been fun, I appreciate the consistency of style and humor while the jokes age up over time.
There’s something cathartic about seeing a comic character enact over the top violence on someone representing our everyday annoyances and rude people.
The fact that this meme is using Smithers is particularly ironic
idk what to say beyond ‘yeah I’ve been there’ which doesn’t feel like it contributes anything
Welcome to the Internet!
Lots of reasons, none of them excusable. They could want to stop people from calling back and are too lazy/can’t figure out how to set up an inbound call back route to go to a “Don’t call us back at this number” voice message; they could have switched phone services (or they’re utilizing a call center/got a new call center) that masks automatically. Those are the two that spring off the top of my head.

That’s love
I had it and cancelled after they raised the price. You’re google, you don’t need more of my money.
I heard someone use ‘cold’ in place of ‘cool.’ That was the moment I instantly became a Shouting Old Woman.
Last time I asked that the only thing they liked was that I briefly held a job that wasn’t related to the field at all. It was working at a library. “I thought that was neat.”
That was it. Nothing else was noteworthy.
