Right now all my lectures at school are by this one professor who is notorious for just rambling incoherently for an hour and a half, and all of them are at 9 am. You can’t expect me to not just turn off my alarm when it goes off at 7 in the morning with only that to look forward to.

If you have the option to watch a recording later and you can skip through the tangents or play at faster speed then there’s no reason to show up
Other than ‘attendance is credit in my class and you cant pass with mkre than x absences’
I go off on tangents, but my students claim to like it, and my classes are at 6pm.
