The implication being that bombing Iran was the right thing to do but Trump just didn’t do it the right way? I’m gonna have to strongly disagree. This feels totally out of character for this comic
Another take is that if the “wife” had handled the situation instead of ignoring it the “husband” wouldn’t have “had to” act arbitrarily
Parables are beautiful because you take your own meaning
I’m not getting the metaphor at all here
Im not totally sure either. I think the message is that a lot of countries / groups wanted something to be done about Iran but while they were discussing it Trump just pulled a leroy jenkins on that shit and now they’re mad about it.
Yeah, but replacing it was indeed the right thing. What Trump did is debatable at best and wrong in most interpretations.
It’s not a good cartoon.
The best I can come up with is that they are both behaving inappropriately in slightly different ways? The alternatives would seem out of character for this comic.
I normally like their stuff, but this one’s a miss for me on a bunch of different levels
Which person is Trump? The lady allowing toxic chemicals in the food or the guy hurting her feelings? I’m not getting it.
Wait maybe it’s a criticism of other cartoonists? Like, she’s a cool mom and not like the other girls?
Except that plastic spatulas should be discarded.
I think the guy is Trump while the woman is the establishment Democrats
Is this one of those jokes you need to follow the author’s social media to understand?
Interventionist American making excuses for their fascist President.
I’m totally with this for the first half, then it made me feel dumb. I am a victim of being the chief household cook and having my ancient gear tossed without being replaced, but I’ve never bombed Iran. Is it one of those comics just not aimed at me?
Okay kids… let’s go!
