Back when I was a muslim, I remember not reading translations for some parts of the quran because I was scared of becoming an atheist.
The mental gymnastics they go through to justify the verses saying cum is produced in the backbone or sun sets into mud is funny, but my personal favorite is when quran did a mathematical error whilst explaining inheritance
That’s crazy, yeah I ended up befriending most of the muslim community at my school so I kinda just hang out with them. But I notice they are very committed to learning and memorizing the Quran. They ask their sheik a ton of questions in order to interpret things correctly.
But like I’m atheist so I kinda know that there has to be a lot of stuff in there that’s crazy despicable
