I could say this, but with the American version shooting foreign journalists and random people in the head, both are equivalent now.
During COVID, I was bullied by my bosses and severely depressed. I gave my 2 weeks notice and, as part of transferring the knowledge, I drank a few strong beers and made a Zoom presentation in front of 50 people about some obscure assembly language stuff that no one cared about because it was too weird yet essential for the company. After one hour of being perfect, I answered some questions and I went back to sleep.
I won’t do it again though because it’s bad for one’s health, but it was awesome.
I achieve better results when I’m drunk-coding.
AI slop, not programming. We have a winner!

And write a script to update the data or tables if something wrong changes (like Russia disappearing because it has been invaded by Belgium), you never know what might happen politically.
ISO is paywalled therefore inferior than the free RFC.

Actually Clion is prone to eating all your RAM randomly. It’s Java after all.
I once fixed an important bug by force-pushing on the master branch (I was an admin too and could do it). I had 5 minutes to fix it, and no one was aware of it. I didn’t ask for permission but I was sweating a lot.
I was young and didn’t want to waste my time. I got my paycheck quicker that way with a bonus for being an annoying bastard.
Personal story:
- Company: you’re fired because you suck and we may sue your ass.
- Me: forwarding all the illegal shit of that company to CEO+HR+managers because I saved it in my personal email and ending with “my friend is a lawyer, I can call him anytime.”
Fun times. Save your emails, especially the bad ones.

You had me until this fake detail, don’t lie to us.
Dan Brown knows the secret but he doesn’t want to say it. Dan Brown, it was in front of us the whole time.
