Some people have chubby cheeks, or don’t want to mess up their makeup would be my guess. The poster mentioned obsessive compulsive disorder, so your answers there. 👍
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•It’s an never ending cycle of sleep deprivation5·2 years agoYou’re right, I am stressed… A recent family illness isn’t helping, along with having PTSD. When it rains, it pours I guess. 🥴
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•It’s an never ending cycle of sleep deprivation4·2 years agoApologies for the late response, and perhaps I need to be tested. 🤔 I just feel like a tea kettle constantly near boiling after a hard day. Some nights, the most I get is 4 hours and the rest of the time I wake up a panicked state. Awake for hours until I have to get up. 🥴
The third one looks like a gang sign 😂
Think about it? It’s all I think about already!

I Am Legend, the one with Will Smith.

It’ll be nice to get off this clown car of a timeline.
I’m pretty sure Hugh Hefner was more of, “A Weekend At Bernie’s”, situation at the end. They just propped him up like a scarecrow at events.
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•Being “gifted”, only makes you wish you weren’t sometimes4·2 years agoAs you get older, you sort of get used to the fact that the majority of your fellow passengers are oblivious to the fact we’re on a bus speeding towards a cliff, driven by depravity and delusions of grandeur. And you realize short of a miracle, nothing is going to change it. It’s either that or you go mad. ¯\(ツ)/¯
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•Being “gifted”, only makes you wish you weren’t sometimes1·2 years agoI can’t unsee it now.
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•Being “gifted”, only makes you wish you weren’t sometimes1·2 years agoThank god, it’s pseudoscience now. Though I was tested over 2 decades ago, it seemed silly they made a big deal out of it.
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•Being “gifted”, only makes you wish you weren’t sometimes1·2 years agoThe later half is so true, early on when you’re a statistical anomaly you can get special treatment, but once you become a small problem or the skill backfires they blow up as if it couldn’t have been seen coming. They expect 100% efficiency like you’re a battery to sap and don’t care how it affects you mentally.
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•Being “gifted”, only makes you wish you weren’t sometimes5·2 years agoAgreed 100%, being a specialist in something always has led to someone taking a pot shot at your deficiencies.
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•Being “gifted”, only makes you wish you weren’t sometimes0·2 years agoI get what you mean… though, I feel like an IQ test is a biased test, I took one as a teenager and scored high. Which was a morale boost at the time, but a few months later I had medical problems and ended up having a stroke and had to basically start all over with speech, motor and memory.
Sure, I survived. But I went through every therapy, started back up and realized I wasn’t close to what I was before. Which was crushing, sure I knew it wouldn’t be the same and I’m still above average, but the latent memories of my capabilities before constantly haunt me.
I didn’t mean to depress anyone, just enjoy the blue zone if at all possible. I constantly try remembering, it can get worse. /hug
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•It’s an never ending cycle of sleep deprivation0·2 years agoFunny you mention that method, I do a similar method myself! I was also told that might be a sign I have undiagnosed autism. But, with outside life stresses, it’s been harder to accomplish the shut down process lately. But with that said, you’ve convinced me to give it a second try tonight, wish me luck!
ButtholeSpiders@startrek.websiteOPto Memes@lemmy.ml•It’s an never ending cycle of sleep deprivation0·2 years agoIt is sadly, inevitable.
I had a friend that during the cold winter mornings would wake up and piss on his windshield to clear/melt the frost. He of course kept the vents closed so he couldn’t smell it on the drive. It really was disgusting, but made me wonder if he might’ve had a clever time saving idea.
