How dare people go to a grocery store.
Because one guy is pointing out that farmers markets arent ethical everywhere and the other guy is trying to invalidate that.
They should be, but they wont because their wealth and our system allows them to make the taxation laws. There is only one realistic way out of this one.
In the current system you have to use money to lobby if you want your agenda enacted. One could argue that the only ethical thing you could pay to lobby would be enacting laws that make lobbying illegal.
The point of the original reply was to point out that farmers markets and their pricing aren’t always the ethical choice, and its dependent on where you live. You’re saying “no, it always is, because I live in a farm community and it is here.”
Your personal experience where you live is not how it is everywhere and is not everyones experience.
Yeah honestly I don’t know enough about surgery to even speculate. What I know is seeing shit on tv where they’re like “nurse, scalpel” n shit and that’s where my understanding begins and ends haha
I guess I never thought about it before but I guess surgeons would have to take measurements when they’re doing surgery. Do they have a measuring tape of some kind of callipers during surgery?
Now it’s more like
“I’m sad”
“Your brain sucks.”
“…”
“Here do some ketamine about it.”
This is the kind of comment that got me banned permanently from Reddit haha
I remember when I was younger seeing how fast some products were developed and I was like “wow, how do they get these produced and tested so fast?”
As I’ve gotten older I’ve come to realize they just don’t test a lot of the time. Or don’t do proper testing.

8·16 days agoWhat? Assuming this isn’t just a joke or satire, but I’ve said some ruthlessly unpopular shit on Lemmy in many instances and I only ever got banned in Blahaj, and I’m pretty sure they unbanned me after a couple weeks or something without me even asking.
I mean if you ignore human rights violations and brutal segregationist policies then sure.
America has been embarrassing itself for much longer than a decade.

“Starvation” wages is a term that gets thrown around as hyperbole. I guess “undervalued for the amount of labour put in at a brutal level compared to the local average” would be more appropriate, but doesn’t roll off the tongue quite as well.
