  • Not necessarily. Also depends on competency of whoever is looking at using your software/investigating and the legacy of the things you described. A whole different scenario if it’s because you forgot to write something in a ticket and someone coming to call for help with docker when you have a docker setup guide they never look at.

  • To be fair there was a large amount of time (2010s at least) where vegans weren’t even trying to be appealling. It was either. Stereotypical vegan dishes but even more limited or extremely bad vegetarian meat. Vegetarian meat has improved a lot and more importantly vegan food is represented as less one note.

Don’t think I’m strong enough to give up dairy but respect to those who can do so without being elitist

  • Additionally, don’t copy and paste anything until you understand it. If you don’t understand what code golf is being spewed, don’t take the top answer. If you don’t understand any answer, you probably don’t understand the underlying systems well enough and need to re-evaluate what your asking for.

Moving jobs I went from 1 meeting a week to multiple a day and all It has done is made me think my new job has no idea what is important priorities shift almost daily due to other meetings that I’m not a part of and nothing gets done properly because we dont have time to refine.

The goal should be to have as few meetings as possible because it means they are unnecessary. If you have a plan for your backlog set, you don’t need to meet up for an hour every week to sort it out

  • I spent about 3 years trying to get into various tcg and drafts was easily the best. There are still try hards but they height is reading the release list so it’s basically “dude, we got a Dinoraxis of the Tyberior” “Hell yeah, there’s a rosaro here as well”. And then they play similarly leveled decks. Thankfully MTG is way better at intermediate levels then Pokémon or YuGiOh. People who play those games actively don’t want fresh blood the way they play.

  • Slightly more complicated than that. It’s also that some countries are way more affected by changes then others. Sure everyone uses fossil fuels but only specific countries export it so you are basically asking a country to cripple itself for you. Same when people suggest we should just not cut down the rainforests. In both cases it would likely be done if other countries paid for it. But right now it’s what you say as well as asking people to handicap themselves
