I don’t see it as being different than any other tool. Aside from the ethical discussions, and assuming that it is being used as if it were simply a tool, if it increases productivity, then what’s the issue?
Yeah, I agree — it feels unnecessarily ambiguous.

Omg, they are. I had no idea that that existed. I’m not surprised at all, though — it seems AI is to businesses as podcasts are to middle aged dads 😜
Hrm, it’s only a survey. I think having information on people’s opinion of a new/emerging technology is a good idea.
They have a section on databases, but, yeah, it looks like nothing for query languages.
I would be curious what the actual political distribution is on Lemmy. Though, I think It would be very tough to accurately survey that.
Finally, a good meme utilizing the Gadsden Flag. That’s a fair criticism of libertarianism, imo.
2·5 months agoWe’re constantly running out; but every fes years, we figure out a new way to extract more oil/make do with the addresses we currently have.
It’s a supply and demand situation. We run out of things not only when they are physically exhausted, but also when it’s not economically viable to find ways to make more. But when demand increases enough, it will eventually become economically viable again.
Out of curiosity, how often does something like this actually happen? More specifically: How often does a cop shoot someone who is attempting to commit suicide, who isn’t a threat to anyone else but themself, resulting in their death? Could anyone provide any relevant statistics?
