Popeyes is this way too. One of their newish spicy chicken sandwiches, out of a well-run Popeyes? It’s legitimately a culinary delight, I would eat that sandwich over almost any I’ve ever had anywhere, not even just similarly priced ones.

Poorly run ones, though, that same marvel of sandwich engineering is wholly forgettable. At best. Tell your cousin there’s a Popeyes near me that needs his brand of TLC!

Feel like DMing a bit? I’m in a similar boat, but not as far along. I’ve got what I believe is a viable idea with a niche but common market, I’m largely familiar with the tech involved (having built something similar before), and even the costs. Currently working on a POC before trying to conduct actual market research interviews (I realize most folks consider that backwards and are probably right).

.world is known (largely due to the Luigi Mangione stuff) to have moderation that’s a bit more heavy handed and more similar to the sort of “corporate Internet”.

No real hate for them and they’ve indicated in the past that some of their actions are just to comply with their local laws. But if you’re looking for an older internet experience you’ll wanna move to a different instance.

Seems like even just the janitor (as well as all other employees) having an ownership stake in the company would be a simple and great start.
