As for redirecting, LibRedirect (use wget to download the crx file) still works on Chromium even though it’s not manifest v3 yet, although they say they’re working on it. Other redirecting services are available.
I’ve been using a vibe-coded userscript in the meantime, which is hacky and uses Tweet Grok’s Twitter Viewer. I definitely prefer Nitter though.
I think most think of their phones or tablets as being “the internet” so that might be why the use WiFi as synonymous with it.

That’s why whenever I’ve upgraded PC I always tried to double or more than double the amount of RAM my last PC had. So this last upgrade I went from 16 GiB to 64 GiB. DDR4 though. I doubt I’ll be able to double it next time with these prices though.
