👴 my first PC in the mid-90s had a 10mbit coaxial network card that my brother and I used for a 2 PC LAN connection, and let me tell ya - you wouldn’t want to handle that while the PC was turned on.
Although the zap was less hurtful than an electrical fence.
Looking it up, it was most likely 10BASE5.









That’s why whenever I’ve upgraded PC I always tried to double or more than double the amount of RAM my last PC had. So this last upgrade I went from 16 GiB to 64 GiB. DDR4 though. I doubt I’ll be able to double it next time with these prices though.
