Why aren’t more people on ghost? It’s a stupid name for what it does, but the $9 a month and keeping the rest is a great deal if you have more than a handful of subscribers.

My thinking with sleep time shows is they need to be predictable, with the occasional joke.

Interesting enough so that when I’m trying to sleep, but can’t I can chuckle, but not so interesting that I want to open my eyes and look.

Whatever was on Saturday morning in ~'94, can’t honestly say.

It came on and was boring so I didn’t pay attention.

Maybe because scooby doo was my least favorite cartoon as a kid, on Saturday mornings it came on once the good shows were done and it was time to play video games, but I didn’t mind Velma. It wasn’t great, I’m not going to go out of my way defending it, but it was a solid okay. I don’t get the hate, it seems overblown for a mid show. It had some jokes, solid sleep time show rewatch (to ruin any credibility my opinion has, brickleberry is in the same category for me).

I don’t think it is… I really thought it would be, but it appears to be dead serious.

Maybe its because i’m not a fan of the books, but I really like Foundation, it has weak points, but overall I’m enjoying it.

I’d like to think that, but I just went to twitch to see what was up and i’ve got one “18+ 🥵🥵” in my recommends despite the only things i’ve really watched on twitch being like 24 hours of marvel snap to collect rewards in that game (i left it in a tab running in the background because why the fuck would i watch other people play something I can just play? but i wanted the in game rewards), some classic TNA (which despite the name is just wrestling) and the first iteration of watch forever (the ai generated Seinfeld).

So they’re definitely advertising it outside people explicitly looking for it.

That said i have no problem with it, if this is how people are making their bag in our capitalist hellscape, get that bag…

as someone who was into computers and in high school in 2000, that that was not normal.

even if yo mean normal computer literate person, not even then… Most people did not run their own servers, was it more common, yeah, but it wasn’t a given.

First let me clear this up, I mean that Biden represents the previous status quo, which has led us to a current status quo where the fascist are ascendant.

The status quo that Biden represents with it’s primacy of shareholder power over every other part of society has led has led us here because it causes inequity and decay. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, then desperate, then fascist…

I’ve long ago given up “not voting sends a message,” just come to peace with the fact that voting for the people that caused the problem will not fix the problem.

Biden is at best a delaying action from the bad times which are inevitable at this point.

If the bad times are coming let them come, because in the meantime the fascists are eating away like termites, like cancer, at the structures of our society, more people are becoming desperate and destitute rife for recruitment, delaying it doesn’t save us, it just makes them stronger.

Big changes are nearly impossible to pull off.

That’s what’s needed though. i’m not voting for cinderella, I’m voting for better. Even if it isn’t going to happen.

America finds itself with the cancer of christian fascism metastasizing in it’s heart and without radical change the bad times are coming. Biden isn’t the guy, Biden is the pre-ascendant fascist status quo trying to hold on for one last gasp.

That status quo does not by definition have the ability to fight the monster, born of inequity and decay, that it created…

My first election was 2000, Gore V Bush, 18 years old I wanted to vote for Nader, but was assured that if I did Bush would win and America would be ruined. I listened to those “wiser” than me and voted for Gore and yet…
