Depends on what you mean by help. Yes, it would communicate the point better, but it’s engagement bait, so the ambiguity is a feature rather than a bug.

This is a fair bit worse than poor use of money.
It’s also a bit odd that the spell so dangerous it was the absolute peak of the Dark Arts was a spell that just killed one person, and not even reliably. Where are the spells to call down meteors and cause earthquakes?
I assume it’s projection. He loses his shit when he’s reminded of the existence of gay people, so he assumes everyone else must be the same as him, just with the teams swapped.
It’s a more subtle P sound though, blended into the next consonant. Omitting it is the lesser of two evils compared to saying “putterodactyl”
It is. The original worksheet it’s cropped from says “beware, one of these is a trick question!”, but obviously that was cropped out because someone really wanted to create an opportunity to feel superior to someone.
“Ah yes, the start of World War 1.”
“World War what now?”
I remember how people used to joke about the second page of Google results being a desolate wasteland where no one ever looks, now I just instinctively scroll down a bit because I know the first page of results is going to be trash.
Of course it was fucking Reagan.
You don’t need to do a conversion, you can just learn them intuitively. 0 is dangerously cold, 10 is cold, 20 is comfortable, 30 is hot, 40 is dangerously hot.
That rule doesn’t actually exist in English. It’s a Latin rule that some British asshole in the 1800s wanted to impose on English because he believed that Latin was a perfect language and anything that works differently from Latin is a flaw to be corrected.
I might be mistaking him with one of the other major grifters; the Venn diagram between racists, homophobes, transphobes, and antisemites is a circle.
And sexist, homophobic, antisemitic, the whole right wing dipshit starter pack.
There’s a psychological reason for that. You’re used to seeing yourself in the mirror, so a photo of yourself looks subtly wrong. Reverse a photo of yourself and you immediately look better, but only to you. It’s wrong to everyone else that way.
Wifwolves, unfortunately.
That’s also where the “were” prefix in werewolf comes from.
Extremely illegal. Every minute you work must be unconditionally paid in full or they’re committing wage theft.
The problem was the execution. A tyrannical Daenarys as the final villain after the White Walkers were defeated makes sense, but she was never actually given the time to be the Mad Queen. She should have gotten a whole season as the big bad after her entire arc from book 1 to present being the buildup to her reign. It’s like they were given the bullet points of the ending and instead of fleshing it out into a proper story, they just used the bullet points as the entire source for the script.
Miles or kilometers per hour makes sense in the context of travel, you can very easily estimate how long it’s going to take to get somewhere.
Geographical continents and geological continents aren’t quite the same thing.
