Vodulas [they/them]

They could not have known you wanted no other information and that you did not want a video. All you mentioned was the battery life.

lol, saying the thing you did is not antagonistic. I don’t even think what you did was antagonist. My point was that you weren’t specific. You never said no videos, no other information. Someone gave you a thing that includes what you said you wanted, and you were like, “No, this isn’t right, and also I will have to wait for the thing that is closer to what I want but still isn’t right” It was funny. In that “How could the person who was literally trying to help have known?” kind of way.

Like, just say, “Thanks, but this isn’t what I was looking for for [these reasons]. I didn’t state them ahead of time”

No, but your reaction was. You were given the thing you asked for, then complained. Then complained the thing wasn’t in a different format not previously specified. Like, someone was trying to be helpful without much context and you were like, “No, this is the wrong kind of help”

“This review is not comprehensive enough”

Handed review that is more comprehensive

“This review is too comprehensive and also I have to wait for an extra thing they do as a bonus”

Quite the take

It’s no biggie, just wasn’t sure if it was on purpose. Easy to navigate to the main site from there

Looks super neat! Will definitely be checking it out. FYI, for some reason your link goes to a screenshot, not the main page for the game

ok? It was not about which is a worse offense, it was about a history of being shit asses

Good to know!

No worries at all. To me it felt more like fetishization but that is a totally fair take.

I included CD Projekt in there since GoG is owned by them

How many layers of people did this go through? Between their history of transphobia and now this, they are painting a pretty bad picture of themselves

Oh for sure. I get the infrastructure down, then go back and beautify it after. Makes it feel like finishing a project

making pretty railway pillars

That’s what blueprints are for!

They said the reason they started playing was a UB set. I’m also new to paper magic. Final Fantasy is what got me started. Clearly UB works for getting new players interested. Should there be as many UB sets as in universe? No, but that doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be any or they don’t attract new players.

An overall good article marred by the gate keeping bullshit. There are a ton of ways to play magic, and just because they are not part of the competitive scene does not make them “not real magic.”

I honestly don’t even think universes beyond is the problem in and of itself. The problem is the high number of sets released per year and the fact that too many of them are universes beyond and in standard. If they did 1 or 2 UB items and kept them to commander decks, secret lairs, or one UB set per year it would leave room for the universes within to shine. Hasbro would never though.

FWIW, the current set is universes within (Secrets of Strixhaven) and is really fun. Of course, the TMNT set before it was also really fun, but they were way too close together.

2 things:

1. You have no idea how much a PS6 is going to cost. RAM and storage prices also have an effect on console prices

2. They were talking about upgrading individual components incrementally. Something that is easy and far less expensive that upgrading the whole machine. Consoles don’t have that option

Been missing the old Warzone days. I’m even fine with new maps, but leave the old ones in rotation.

Plus most classical paintings are public domain. If you want to be lazy but still have good art just put some of those in

This is probably just confirmation bias. The list of games they have worked on is pretty small in the large scheme of games (1-4 a year with the exception of 2023). A lot of the games are enjoyed by the wider gaming audience (Alan Wake 2, God of War Ragnarok, Sable, etc). Most of the ones that are bad (like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League) are bad because of things outside the part SBI took in the game.

The wikipedia page has a lot of good info on the nontroversies plus a list of games they have been involved in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_Baby_Inc.
