Is spam available in the UK?
Honestly it might be, but I’ve just never really thought of it as a UK product, it’s just a weird thing Americans eat, rather like ramen. Whatever that is.

It’s just a brand’s name isn’t it. It’s not a very good brand name I’d admit but it doesn’t actually mean anything.
There’s a lot of that in the software world. I’m thinking of gimp.
Graphics Image Manipulation Program, yeah right
It’s really hard to imagine a world without Git. If it hadn’t been invented I think it would have been necessary to create it it’s one of those things that’s hard to imagine and then impossible to work out how you can survive without it.
Yet the vast majority of the world probably don’t even know what it is, and wouldn’t even understand it if it was explained to them.
People complain about Java being weird all the time. The reason people complain about it is because they use it all the time and things about it annoy them.
Pretty much everyone who uses any programming language has stuff they don’t like about it and we’ll complain about it from time to time. A lot of this stuff never really gets fixed, because updating languages is problematic, see mysqli_real_escape_string
.
Fairly sure that in that case it would actually be more cost effective to just rewrite the application.
I’m actually not that shocked. Corporations make weird corporate decisions all the time because they feel as if they’re getting the more professional version or something. They tend to view open source projects as either unprofessional or in some complicated way, actually illegal. Like it’ll turn out that open source isn’t allowed after all.
This is what happens when lawyers who don’t actually know what they’re talking about make recommendations. They don’t know, so they always advise caution. Also they genuinely don’t seem to know the difference between pirated software and open source.
So this guy was apparently too intelligent to become a police officer, which frankly a intellectually limited gibbon would be able to exceed, and yet somehow wasn’t bright enough to realize that it would be a good idea to lie.
Okay but I can’t speak North Korean so I’m going to be pretty bad language teacher, I’m not sure how that’s supposed to work.
I had a lot of surgery when I was a kid, and I can honestly say it never really bothered me, the injection hurt but that was about it. Why would I’m be bothered by it, it was perfectly safe they’d already told me that.
It’s only adults that worry about going into surgery. We know the odds are good will be okay but not 100%. Kids don’t know any of this so they’re perfectly happy with it all.
What does smoked salmon sound like?
On UK keyboards the £

Double quotation marks "
are in the same place though so a lot of british programmers don’t use single quotation marks because they are hard to press. If your touch typing you have to reach all the way to the bottom right with your right hand little finger and it’s just not worth it.
I’ve done that in the past and I just ceased to be productive after about 50 hours of work a week maybe 60. This was in software development which is a cushy number really.
The computer screen just becomes a garbled bunch of pixels with no meaning to me anymore and I have to stop. I can’t imagine doing it for a manual labour job and I certainly can’t imagine doing it for 80 hours.
I’ve done 12 hours shift jobs as well and they’re in nightmare for productivity. But who cares as long as you’ve got asses on seats that’s the main thing right? You got to look like you’re being productive, actually being productive is more or less irrelevant.
Can they please fix Overwatch 2 so it’s actually playable now? Or better yet just bring back Overwatch 1
Thing is I’m not trying to act superior and then look like a total melon because I’m not the one that thinks that Hamilton, a famous musical, is a movie so I’m not thinking I’m the strange one here.
Notice seems to be where all the cryopreservatory places are. Because if you’re going to be stolen liquid nitrogen after death I suppose you should do it somewhere ritzy.
I also think you’re a tool if it helps. Or indeed if it does not.
I hope it doesn’t, this is fun.
So they’ve gone out of business. It looks like the advertising campaign didn’t work then
I don’t even have telegram installed.
I think they just mean that it’s not necessary for playing the game. It isn’t like if you know the lore then you can find a secret cave, that gives you access to extra content. It is there for its own sake.
The value add that it gives is entirely dependent on the individual. It would be nice if there was some gameplay reward for reading it.
