“Shitty-er” to rhyme with “prettier”, I would guess.
Oh no!!! Took a second read.
Cool! I never thought of that!
…Is loss a Unicode character now??
The one horse fact I know is that violin bows (and presumably all viol* and string bass bows) use tail hair from male horses, never female, to avoid using pee-drenched hairs.
This got me thinking: Does this mean that kids these days aren’t doing the banana telephone thing? I’m young enough to never have seen a telephone (as opposed to a mobile phone) other than in movies and museums, but maybe I lived in sufficient temporal proximity to the era of wired telephones to have banana telephones as a part of my childhood.
My siblings and I always loved the number 4 because our puritanical mother was so casual about sticking her middle finger out at only that moment. That was just about the most taboo thing we could imagine, and it was as a result hilarious.

Where is this in the Wikipedia article?
In general, I thought IP addresses are mutable while MACs stay the same, and I thought that’s why the outside world uses IPs to identify networks while routers inside a network use MACs to identify specific devices. If you can change your MAC arbitrarily, doesn’t that risk making the router’s job more difficult? Why not just assign yourself a different internal IP?
I’m East Asian. My ex (also Asian) said I smelled bad sometimes after exercising, but my current partner (not Asian) says I don’t have any body odor. I do think that when we go to the gym together, their smell far outweighs mine. I can’t smell myself at all, but then again, people are usually habituated to their own scents.
Sometimes, though, when I was a child, my father would come home from the gym, and we could all smell him from a mile away. I don’t know if that’s because the gene skipped him or if it’s just because humans generally think their close family members are stinky.
It’s nice to talk about this when my armpits aren’t in danger of being sniffed by several drunk friends.
