I feel like it just paints an absurd situation. They’re in a precarious situation and can lose their balance and fall forward or backward. I don’t think there’s anything weird with the physics if you accept it’s supposed to be an absurd situation.
My understanding is you don’t actually need to update the copyright year… if anything it’s kinda misleading if you only have the current year
well, I can only speak from my own experience. I forget the exact prescription but my eyes were also slightly off so one was worse than the other and neither was perfect.
Idk if it’s just that significant or if it’s having them align but it made tree leaves just look individual and pop for me. I was staring at every tree and saying how they look so cool and it was only later that I learned this common tree meme among people who get glasses.
I paid for eye insurance when I first landed a “real” job that has benefits and got an eye check up and the optometrist was like “you’re just barely off from 20/20, not really even a prescription” and i was like oh geez what a waste of time.
And then I put on the pair of glasses and it was like this. Just every tree looked magical.
Arctic Eggs is a short but neat game about frying eggs
food is a big part of every culture and it is something everyone has to deal with several times a day. That already brings in a lot of opportunities where someone’s diet is relevant to conversation. And, veganism goes beyond diet. I don’t think they necessarily do it on purpose, you probably don’t notice how often you bring up specifically the opposite of veganism.
I had pretty terrible math education in school but as an adult I’ve gotten into programming and making video games and every time I learn a math concept I think “wow, math is even cooler than I thought” but the main part stopping me from learning some concepts is not having a practical example.
I vaguely know differentiation and integration… I think it might be the correct way to describe things like determining/applying acceleration to an object over time… but when I read your description I really don’t understand…
I think that’s in general what I run into with math. it’s cool and amazing when I get it, but a lot of the descriptions of concepts have a lot of assumptions about the reader sometimes to the point where to understand the description you’d have to already understand the concept.
I’ve found whenever people complain about rust code they can only point out how it’s different but not why it’s worse and I can usually point to a reason why it’s better.
to be fair, I get sometimes it’s difficult to pinpoint why something is bad and even “being different” can be a legitimate criticism on its own
thanks! likely the one funny meme I’ll ever make 😂
that sounds familiar. I was inspired by this post though
don’t get me wrong, I agree. Furthermore, despite the problems with apps like TikTok, I do think there’s an incredible amount of amazing content created on that platform. It can be such a showcase of the creativity of the average person, it just sucks that it’s pretty objectively terrible in multiple ways.
it looks like it’s controversial because any app that has vertical content must be terrible 🤷♂️
all I’m saying is if you’re recording something for tiktok or Instagram, it’s going to look best if it’s recorded vertically
it’s not stupid if that’s the format it gets viewed most in
The demonic cat-sith called Big Ears could be summoned (Gaelic taghairm Scottish Gaelic pronunciation: [tɤrʲɤm]) to appear and grant any wish to those who took part in the ceremony. The ceremony required practitioners to burn the bodies of cats over the course of four days and nights.
wow
my childhood friend called him “seh-pirth”
the term normally refers to a developer that can be productive in every layer required for a typical application to work.
They can do the front end design/styling/implementation and are familiar with front end languages and frameworks
They can do the backend API design and are familiar with the typical backend languages and patterns.
They can do the database table design, write and optimize queries.
They can handle the ci/cd scripting that handles building and deploying the application
They can design and write the automation tests and are familiar with the libraries used for that.
And a bunch of other crap like load testing or familiarity with cloud services.
The latest thing added to the list is AI model creation which is a nightmare… but, I can’t say no 🤷♂️
