I actually think they’ve just gotten worse and worse. X2 was quite fun (X wasn’t), but after that I haven’t been able to play more than 30-60 mins of the ones I’ve tried. Nowadays I don’t even pay attention to them.

I’m slightly interested in the VII remake though. I never really got into the og. There was something about the graphics and environment that I couldn’t stand.

Oh, I wasn’t even thinking about that new. I was talking more of 7 and above! :D

I enjoyed them a lot more than any modern version.

Oh, the SNES has some amazing gems. If you like Chrono Trigger you should deffo try the old Final Fantasies as well.

Some of that feels tough, but it might be well balanced… I think I’ll give it a go.

But there may be some things I might want to tweak.

For example, I like to only upgrade my stamina, so I only have 3 hearts. Then to balance that I go pick up a bunch of durians early on so I can cook food with +4 hearts. That’s my base health.
I never cook larger hearty meals.

So I’ll have to think about the hearty food rule.

I’ve played master mode through twice as well. ;)

This time I’m playing normal for a more leisurely time. I went directly for the ancient horse armour for instant horse, and the Royal Guard Armour set to wear the whole play through.

But I’m interested in your rule sets. Please, do share. :)
