Use AI to ask it questions and learn. Do not use it to do your work.
The one very important thing I learnt on stack overflow was the XY problem. Most of my first questions were about how to make my idiotic solution work, instead of how to properly solve the problem.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not “pro-Europe” by any means. But I live here, and it’s generally quite nice for me.
I don’t feel obligated to pick sides in this conflict, I have no delusions of having any influence on it. Whomever wins, wins, and we’ll deal with that if and when it happens.
I’m French, so we have the standard European signs, which should be easy enough to order 👀
Reading two different lies doesn’t make you any more informed, though. You don’t have to participate in this charade at all.
Indeed, I mean “good guys” and “bad guys” in the usual narrative !
This kinda post is also stuck in a sort of a false dichotomy where you have to choose between the US or Russia. Why ?
I’ll stick to Europe, personally, although I’m aware there’s lots of sucky stuff here as well.

Counterpoint : Fuck big tech. Fuck startups. Start a software co-op and make something actually useful, instead of yet another middle-man leech like Uber and Netflix.
Don’t get second opinion syndrome. Just because the “good guys” are actually bad, doesn’t mean the “bad guys” aren’t also bad.
Well, I am french and I’ve never heard the phrase “I have my bears”…
Looking to bulk order “pedestrian zone” and “cycles only” signs some time soon 👀
You can absolutely blame the language in the case of C++ !
Also, the author ? Many large scale projects are a mish-mash of dozens or hundreds of authors. If the language doesn’t facilitate teamwork, and they don’t have a Linus to oversee it all, things can quickly degenerate to the point of incomprehensibility, through the fault of no single person in particular.
The good thing about stack overflow, (when your question isn’t marked as a duplicate of something completely unrelated), is that you accidentally learn random other things while browsing answers.

Although a socialist myself, the argument “smart people agree with me” is always a terrible justification for anything.

You don’t need this many editors x) Neovim for all your terminal needs, emacs evil mode when you need some actual UI in there like a notebook or R markdown !
Besides that, Java is never the right tool. It’s always close enough but never quite right ; just like you can technically replace every single tool with a knife… But you shouldn’t. (Except a knife does have a proper use, Java does not)

I don’t care if human meat made for tastier, healthier hamburgers, and faster too ; I refuse to eat people for any reason whatsoever.
If you don’t see how this relates to AI, maybe you are AI yourself.
The only reason monorepos are used is because tooling for multi-repos is inadequate, or people don’t know how to use it.
Version control tooling is still at its “blackberry” stage anyway.

“Silhouette” is the name of a french finance minister !

Write it yourself next time instead of generating it.
Evil spreads its tendrils further yet.
No ? I like my tools being separate. The only “seamless integration” I want is that the tools work in the terminal.
