No, this is c/memes. But a screenshot of a comment without any recontextualization isn’t a meme.

A meme is an idea or behavior that spreads through a culture.

If you’re having a disagreement, and are unwilling to move on your position at all, you’re not having a discussion, you’re attempting to out lecture somebody who’s probably doing the same thing. That person might be an expert in some tangentially related field. That person might be an irredeemable cretin who enjoys arguing on the Internet more than anything else.

                ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had this discussiom before. It always ends in circling around unchanging positions and repitition of arguments brought up before. I don’t want to play that game. Make of that whatever the fuck you want, but leave it be for fucks sake and stop trying to make me argue again. It won’t work.

If this qualifies as a meme, then literally anything posted here would as well, making the term useless.

Wack, the definition I have here is

“Any unit of (originally cultural) information, such as a practice or idea, that is transmitted verbally or by repeated action from one mind to another in a comparable way to the transmission of genes.”

Of course there are some other definitions, but I’d assume this community intends the most open interpretation otherwise they’d have a more specific one listed in the comm rules
