I know it’s a joke, but here’s a fun fact: very few original Greek sculptures survive to today. Most/all the marble statues we’d call greek sculptures are actually Roman reproductions of the Greek originals. The Greeks used bronze, and pretty much all of them wound up getting melted down in the middle ages, since bronze is useful for other things and all the statues were derided as “pagan”.

I hereby believe you without fact-checking, and may or may not pass this knowledge forwards, also without fact-checking.

Art history class in college was as useful as I expected, but more interesting than I expected.

The only thing stopping you from eating less and/or doing more physical labor is you. Of course, those fit dudes from the back then had less of an option.
