So why do we have thousands of people living on the streets in my state that’s been solidly blue for over 40 years? Take your blinders off already because you are engaging in the same behavior as MAGA supporters: blind allegiance.

Works the same for finding a burned out bulb on a string of Christmas lights too.
I think it’s more nefarious than that. Many departments want a good 'ol boys club where they’re the ultimate authority and they want their officers to fall in line rather than question department actions.
It also rusts the shit out of cars which is why 3 year old cars from the midwest resemble 30 year old cars from the west coast. I wonder if anyone has ever calculated all the lost capital caused by salting roads. I bet it’s insanely high with the infrastructure and property damage alone.
It seems like a scrappy little scraper.
I don’t understand why anyone would buy the $450 digital version plus a $70 Bluray disc drive add-on rather than just paying $500 for a disc model capable of playing blurays and games. Very strange on Sony’s part.
I just minutes ago finished up the new season of Disenchantment before coming across this post. The main character’s name is Bean.
I also had a taco salad for lunch today and one of the main ingredients was… beans.
This is spooky.
I wouldn’t say this is always true. Numerous times I’ve bought digital games from the PS store that were heavily discounted while places like Gamestop were still asking MSRP ($69.99) for new or $10 off for used on a game that came out years prior. I still prefer to own a disc but sometimes digital is cheaper and more convenient.
This was probably translated on a fir tree afternoon when they were already checked out for the weekend.
So costs are out of control, but wages are at an appropriate level? That doesn’t really make much sense logically. The actual values don’t matter as much as the disparity between the two. If the minimum wage were $100/hr, a house costing $400k wouldn’t be an issue. Similarly, if the minimum wage were $2/hr while homes cost $8k, that also wouldn’t be an issue.
