This is actually a common thing right now, but information is being censored by the big processed food suppliers. For more info and to see if your grocery store’s supply might be affected, Google “Blue Waffle uncensored”
Oof… someone woke up and chose violence today. *Slow clap

It is A.D. 2101
oh hello there satan!
Make sure you turn off safe search. Safe search prevents results about unsafe things like mold and asbestos.
Big grocery censoring important information for the people… typical.
You’ve been waiting to post that on something for awhile, haven’t you?
Where is this mold that tastes like blueberries?
For many, Eggos are just vehicles for mass syrup ingestion
Yeah, plus this likely didn’t happen. They probably took it out of the package, saw the mold and made a joke. I’m not saying it definitely didn’t happen; the universe may not be infinite but our ability to make bad decisions/mistakes certainly is.
There’s so much on the internet of decisions and mistakes I could never in a million years fathom making that are incontrovertibly true based on video, news articles, whatever.
So something like this, that I could EASILY see myself doing, is really hard to call fake.
Food scientists want to know OPs location.
Blueberrebos. The mind does their best work when you think you know something is when it isn’t.
Ok, I’ve totally been this person. Can anyone ELI5 how mold grows in the freezer? Is my freezer not cold enough, or can it grow sub-zero?
In my 51 years I’ve never seen mold grow in a freezer. Preferably a mycologist would chime in to clarify if there are any molds that grow under those circumstances.
My guess is that 1) there was a supply chain issue where the product wasn’t held at the right temp long enough for it to mold, then continued on its journey to a home freezer. Or 2) “Oops! I bought too many groceries and can’t fit everything in the freezer. I’ll just throw this box in the fridge (and proceed to forget it exists.)”
The freezer probably isnt always that cold. i.e its easy to accidentally block the vents near the back and if that happens, it screws up the temperature of the interior of the fridge
The eggos thawed at some point would be my guess.

Well you must have liked the first two if you were going back for more. Maybe you’re onto something with these blueberries of yours.
Tbf to OP, I once had a full serving of moldy rice and didn’t notice until the following day because a) I didn’t look very closely, and b) It didn’t smell/taste off or weird.
Think of it this way: your food was growing extra food. Whether that extra food is edible is another matter
Repost have seen this month’s ago on reddit
How tf do frozen waffles get moldy?
That assumes theyre always frozen. Accidentally blocking the vents, a failing fridge, a slightly cracked door, all can cause the interior to not be as cold as you think it is.
Well, at least you will take care of that streptococci infection
Hold up, am I on reddit!?
Just stop.
