I agree, with the exception that on shittier pizza and sometimes reheated pizza it’s not.
The crust is the most variable part of the pizza. Sometimes, it’s delectable, chewy and the right amount of fluff. Sometimes it’s so thin and crunch you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a cracker.
Or it’s underdone and/or overly-bready, and not chewy or crispy enough.
Needs a dipping sauce.
I always have pizza with hummus. I am surprised pizzerias don’t offer it already in their menu …
