This seems like a company that’s gonna make taking sick time a real problem.
So… most of them
My job just made it so they won’t accept a doctor’s note as an excuse on why you’re not working.
Do you happen to work in a prison? As a prisoner? That sounds awful.
I’d tell you to find new employment but that isn’t always a realistic solution.
Nah I work in a slaughterhouse pulling cow carcusses onto the line to get sanitized and cut up for shipping.
Early red flags are always appreciated.
“As many as are required.”

Lmao. One of my first job interview when I was 18 and inexperienced. The interviewer asked me “How often is it acceptable to call out of work?”. My dumbass said “I dunno, once a month? More than that and you’d be unreliable.”
He get a strange look on his face and I never heard from them again.
Well it wasn’t my first interview. That one was for a server/cashier position at a restaurant. I get there and they said they would make me a dishwasher and then said “and the pay… whatever minimum wage is now.” I left.
It would depend on the schedule. If they can “schedule” me the morning of without any advance notice, then my number will be 365.

Excused or un-excused?

So … Weekends, holidays, vacation. Did I forgot anything? That is a large number.
Those wouldn’t be when you are “scheduled”.
You sound awfully confident.
I once got a question that asked how many times you’d lied about calling in sick at previous jobs. It was multiple choice and 0 was not an option. Instead of lying, I just exited the application. I didn’t really want to work at Red Robin anyway.
A scheduled absence shouldn’t be a problem.
365
“Yes”
